Thorpe Park Holiday Centre in Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire is a lovely place to buy a caravan holiday home. There’s no shortage of great coastal locations and Thorpe Park is on one of them. We’re just at the mouth of the River Humber, beside hundreds of yards of soft sandy beachfront.

This is a huge holiday park that can cater for thousands of people at once. So as you’d expect, it has loads of sports, leisure and entertainment facilities. This is great news if you’re thinking about buying a static caravan here, because it means you have a brilliant variety of fun new things to try out every time you come and stay in your caravan holiday home.

Thorpe Park is a really nice place to explore either on foot or a by cycling. There are a number of open green areas, fishing lakes, streams and other water features that separate the different areas of the caravan park. Although it’s all flat, it’s such a big space that we operate a regular road train service across the park so everyone can get around easily.

Most of our entertainment facilities are down by our main complex, which is a completely enclosed, safe, funzone play area. It’s where you’ll find our swimming pool, Lazy River and flumes plus the adventure golf course, bungee trampolines, dune buggies, mini-funfair rides and more.

Why choose Thorpe Park?

Since we have such a large range of activities and kids’ clubs, Thorpe Park is the perfect holiday park for you if you have young kids that’ll be coming to stay at your Lincolnshire static caravan. Just wait till they see our climbing wall, archery range and paintball arena. If you fancy something a little more relaxed there’s our 9-hole golf course and two fishing lakes to enjoy.

We also have multiple accesses to the beach all the way along our park, which means all the static caravans we have for sale are just moments away from the sand and waves. Some of the holidays homes you can buy at the northern end of our park are actually right on the beachfront and come with their own sea views.

Things to do in Lincolnshire

Take a walk out of our holiday park and you can’t help but see Pleasure Island Family Theme Park right next-door. With its rides, roller-coasters and animal shows it’s a sure hit with kids (and overgrown kids), plus entry is discounted for all of our holiday home owners.

At the other end of our caravan park, if you walk out along the shore you’ll soon come across acres of dunes, marshes and mud-flats. This is RSPB Tetney Marshes, a protected nature reserve that’s home to many species including hen harriers and lagoon sand shrimp.

The commercial fishing port at Grimsby is only a few miles from our park so catches of the day around here are always the freshest. Grimsby’s old Victorian dock tower is well worth a look too, and if you have a soft spot for steam locomotives, make sure you visit the nearby Lincolnshire Wolds Railway.
